The intention on this matter is nothing except to advocate for an internationally supervised resolution of the Joko Widodo diploma allegation, with the following considerations.
• The case has significant implications for democratic legitimacy and public trust.
• Domestic legal processes may be perceived as politically influenced.
• An international mechanism ensures impartiality and credibility.
To realize this proposal, we need to take the following steps of actions.
• Form an independent panel of international academic and legal experts.
• Invite legal observers from ICJ, ASEAN, or similar bodies.
• Use MLATs to engage foreign institutions for document verification.
• Publish a transparent, peer-reviewed report.
Many positive things will be gained, not only by Indonesia but also by nations at the regional and global levels. Some of the benefits include:

• Demonstrates Indonesia’s commitment to international legal norms.
• Sets a regional—also global—precedent for resolving high-profile legal disputes.
